So it's my first blog of a long running series (i hope) which i would like to appropriatly name.
"The New Adventures of Old Alex".
Before i talk about munich i just want to mention Steph. I dont think there was a posible better way i could of started this whole journey, wow.
So there's 6 hours to the football (My ECL game - Bayern Munich v's Fiorentina) and it's my final day here in Munich. Holy shit i am gonna miss this place. At first it wasn't so easy, i thought a week was long enough. But then Lung, you came in with all your budism ways and, shit i learnt alot from you. And i bet you don't even know it.
Mostly that I am a cheeky barstard!!!
And then with that base man, everything just blossomed.
Anna, Magdalene, Smiljana, Chi, Thomas, Mosel, Daniel. Ya'll showed me alot of what life is all about. It was like a family there and i know more about all you guys then i probably do most my friends back home. Some of you i will see soon, some a little later, and some probably never. Whatever it is, you all contributed to me in so many way that i could never describe in words. I won't forget my time here or you. Not ever.
I know now just how hard the university life in Munich is for some of you. And for 1000's of others aswell. The support you get, or so be it, the lack of it...it's a joke and shits just a bitch but non of you are alone. And it might not look so great now, but in time it will work out for each and everyone of you. And if it doesn't....just go study in Australia, atleast you'll be looked after there.
Beer drinking, all night/early conversation conversations, monstrious walks, our private concert, (Thomas and Lung man you guys are awesome), relaxing in the parks all day, eating out, Mosel's crazy stories, all the apartment hunting talk. The stresses & the arguments. The Good & the Bad. I take it all and apreciate it all.
I can never imagine, my time in the UK is ever going to equal what i felt here. But if it does, even half....
Then i'll probably be home.
(dann werde ich wahrscheinlich zu Hause sein).
Oh and to all you people back in OZ who reckon German is easy to learn...Ya'll obviously never tried!!
See You Soon & Best Wishes.
Alex.
