I just wanted to post a short clip from the movie "Genghis Blues" by Roko and Adrian Bilec. Adrian is the Academy Award nominated documentary Filmmaker I met at QIFF."Genghis Blues" Summary (Taken From the "Genghis Blues" website):Paul Pena played blues with the greats T-Bone Walker, B.B. BOTTLENECK - ALIVE (Music Video)
I have finished the Music video for the Filipino Music Group Bottleneck. I edited the footage I captured during Typhoon Ondoy to their new song titled "ALIVE". The song is beautiful and it goes well with the images. This is a Tribute to the victims of typhoon Ondoy. Spread the video for awareness of this tragic event and spread the word about "ALIVE" by BOTTLENECK.
Update on Everything
Hello Everyone, Since my documentary "A Box With A View" has won the Accolade Award of Merit and is now being screened at the Queens International Film Festival I have received two random invitations from Festivals to submit my film. When invited to submit to a festival the submission fee is waived, which is a huge plus for a poor guy like me. Submission fees can range anywhere from $10 to $60. The first festival to contact me was the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles and most recently a festival called Tiburon International Film Festival located in California. I will submit "A Box With a View" to both and see what happens. I should hear back around March 2010.
