Whether the Weather
Here’s a cool weather poem – no pun intended…
Whether the Weather
Whether the weather be fine,
Or whether the weather be not,
Whether the weather be cold,
Or whether the weather be hot,
We’ll weather the weather,
Whatever the whether,
Whether we like it or not.
-Anonymous
If anyone would like to read this poem for us, I’d be happy to add a recording.
May you be comfortable whatever the weather!

Here’s a Cranberry Sauce Recipe from my friend Robin. It sounds yummy!

Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. -Berthold Auerbach

Music is very much the same as air and water. It’s very much a natural element of the earth, you know when you hear birds, when you hear leaves crinkling on the ground, that’s music… it’s essential to the quality of life… The more you can listen to music, the better your quality of life will be.

Edible Schoolyards
What a great idea: Edible Schoolyards, where children help create gardens and take part in a kitchen classroom. “Students participate in all aspects of growing, harvesting, and preparing nutritious, seasonal produce”.
Perhaps this is part of the answer to instilling a love of healthy food in kids… get them involved in growing and making their own healthy school lunches.
On the same note check out Maira Kalman’s latest creation in the NY Times…
Back to the land.
Let’s keep the great ideas coming and try to put some of them in practice to help improve
