Recipe for Cranberry Wine Sauce
Here’s a Cranberry Sauce Recipe from my friend Robin. It sounds yummy! Robin wrote, Here’s my personal fave… given to me by a friend… I sometimes add a little orange zest: Cranberry Wine Sauce (Can be made up to 1 week ahead) Mix in a medium saucepan over medium heat: 3 cups Cranberries 1-1/2 cups Sugar 1-1/4 cup Port Wine (Gallo Port Wine is just fine – doesn’t have to be expensive) Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. This year I made my own homemade Cranberry Sauce, thanks to a recipe given to me by my friend Judy. It came out really good and I plan to add this to my Thanksgiving fare every year. What a great idea: Edible Schoolyards, where children help create gardens and take part in a kitchen classroom. “Students participate in all aspects of growing, harvesting, and preparing nutritious, seasonal produce”.
