I'm a cartographer and a Quaker. I think the two are related, and the common threads seem to be a regular theme here. This blog tries to explore the ontology of cartography (what exactly do we mean by "map"?), and increasingly deals with issues relating to theological diversity in Quaker circles. In a nutshell, I'm trying to reconcile the subjective experience of art and mysticism with the objective framework of science and universalism. While standing on one foot and whistling Dixie. Help.
