Work that day had felt overwhelming. Now she had to stop and pick up groceries before going to pick up the kids from day care.  After loading the groceries into the car, she calls the day care to let them know she’s on her way. Placing the key into the ignition, she turns and key, the only sounds she gets is the cranking sound of the engine trying to start, but it never happens. Two then three more times she tries; with one good slap to the steering wheel she bravely gives it one last shot, but no start.
