I made my own! Roasted turkey, maple yams, brussels sprouts, carrot-apple stuffing and homemade cranberry. REPRESENT! (Note: I sold off all my kitchen stuff in April.) And on the plate: Christmas is up next! WOOHOO!

This year, Meg gets no Thanksgiving. When the Canadian one rolled around, I was in Boston. And now that it’s turkey time in Boston? I’m in the damp, unyielding rainforest of Vancouver, working away. Talk about bad planning! My parents are much smarter than I am, of course, and did the very opposite thing.
