This year, Meg gets no Thanksgiving.
When the Canadian one rolled around, I was in Boston.
And now that it’s turkey time in Boston?
I’m in the damp, unyielding rainforest of Vancouver, working away.
Talk about bad planning!
My parents are much smarter than I am, of course, and did the very opposite thing. They managed to get turkey on the Canadian holiday AND are currently sharing the day with their (Canadian!) friends in Phoenix right now.
Sigh.
While I do wish that I were with Gradon on the East Coast, I can&
