Michael Must Reads – SharePoint, Office, And Other Tech Goodies
Body: Well it’s Sunday morning, I am nursing a serious cup of coffee, home alone for the weekend wondering if I will be able to climb out from the mountain of catch-up work that continues to pile up with my schedule not allowing for much breathing time. While I try to figure out how to get my head above water though the worlds of SharePoint, Office, and Tech have continued to march on. Body: I am sharing this YouTube video not to promote the book it references at the end (I have never read it) but rather because I feel that this is a message that every corporate decision maker need to keep in mind. SocialMedia is here to stay and its impact is huge. Either corporations learn how to engage and drive the conversation or they will be simply the unwilling subjects of it. SharePoint Saturday Raleigh This Saturday – I’ll Be There Will You?
Body: This Saturday 11/07/2009 there will be a SharePoint Saturday held here in Raleigh. The event is being graciously hosted by SAS at their beautiful SAS Institute campus. I am privileged to be able to speak as part of a group of stellar SharePoint gurus (they are stellar and gurus… me… I am lucky to get to speak with them). My presentation will be on Social Computing with SharePoint 2010. If you have never been to one of these events you are missing a real treat. There are several tracks of content running simultaneously all day featuring top notch speakers from all over and…. the whole day
