Theatre Review: The Heidi Chronicles, by Wendy Wasserstein
While I was recently in San Francisco, I had the pleasure of seeing a production of the play, The Heidi Chronicles, by Wendy Wasserstein; performed by the Custom Made Theatre Company in its new theatre location, The Next Stage, at 1620 Gough Street. The performance will be running through to October 31st, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in seeing a play with a female driven role, performed astutely by Leah Abrams. If you live in the area, check it out. Or if you don’t live in the area, try to catch a production of the play the next time it comes to your town.

When my mother broke the news to me – that I was already excluded from a club, which, apparently only half of the population was allowed into; that my options had suddenly been limited; that all of the freedoms I had enjoyed u
