Analyze What?
I was trying to think of something deep to say and instead found myself scrolling through the search terms that had brought people to my blog for the last little while (are we sensing a Google theme here this week?). I didn't think that anything could amaze me anymore when it comes to these things that people search for, but I was clearly wrong. People come up with some doozies!Like this one:"eating semen makes you a woman"Is that like saying "eating brussel sprouts will put hair on your chest" or "eating spinach will make you into Popeye"? Because, and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I'm pretty
The result of far too much time on my hands
It is becoming more and more apparent that I need to meet some people and get myself a life, otherwise I have no life and I find myself sitting at home on a Friday night with far too much time on my hands. I spent last night sitting there trying not to melt (it was 27 C today. Or 80.6F for those of you who need the conversion), while watching Glee and lamenting the loss of one of my favorite Friday night shows...Rove. Because there isn't an original thought in my head today
I have two 5 year old boys tearing around my house at high speed right now. They're loud, rambunctious, high pitched, excited and mostly cute. But I'm glad that only one of them lives here full time. The original plan was for me to have FOUR kids here this afternoon, but when Girl Spawn's friend's mother realised what was happening, she took my precious daughter home with her so that I could contend with the male species on my own. Yay.Actually it's not so bad. They're entertaining each other with car races (Hot Wheels are the bomb!), playing tag in the backyard and eating popsicles that are so bright in colour that I'm pretty sure that I'll be dealing with som
Help For Anissa
Apparently, I have not been in my usual places at the usual times, so it was not until very late last night that I even caught wind of what has been going on since early yesterday. The entire blogosphere is coming together to talk about, to help, to try and do something...ANYTHING...to help this family. Many of you might know Anissa Mayhew from Aiming Low. Honestly, I've pretty much just lurked over there because I never feel I have anything of value (or of wit) to say. But I love being there and seeing what they all have to say. Anissa is funny, honest, witty, awesome and so many other things.
