Come out to the Keg & Barrel in Hattiesburg, MS this Thursday evening (November 5, 2009) for the Raise Your Pints Cask Ale Tasting. Lazy Magnolia will be featuring two unique casks of their beer. One will be a cask of the brand new Gulf Porter, the other is a secret one-time recipe based on a dry-hopped, double-fermented Reb Ale. The fun starts at 7:00 PM. All proceeds from sales of cask pints go to support Raise Your Pints.

At Cheddar’s Casual Cafe, the manager says they’ve seen an increase in traffic and a lot of new customers since they opened their bar last weekend.According to the Flowood city clerk, 13 restaurants have applied for resort status permits, which allows them to sell wine and liquor by the glass.
