Patrick LaMontagne is a nationally syndicated editorial cartoonist and illustrator whose work appears regularly in North American newspapers and magazines. With a specialty in caricature illustration, he creates detailed images with humor and exaggeration while maintaining instant personality recognition.
Patrick grew up as a Canadian Armed Forces ‘base brat,’ spending much of his childhood living in West Germany. He moved to Banff, Alberta in 1994 where he became a cartoonist for the Banff Crag and Canyon newspaper in 1997. He signed on with The Rocky Mountain Outlook in 2001, the year he also became nationally syndicated.
He became a full-time cartoonist and illustrator in 2005, despite having never received any formal art training. He is a member of the National Caricaturist Network and serves on the executive of the Association of Canadian Editorial Cartoonists.
Patrick lives with his wife, Shonna and their two cats in Canmore, Alberta, surrounded by the beauty of the Canadian Rockies. |

I only require a very rudimentary understanding of the rules for these games and the style they're after in order to complete the images. H
