Applications Have Been Sent!
So I got another disappointing LSAT score. Very frustrating considering I’d spent $600 on the weekend intensive Powerscore course and hotel in Dallas. I had improved a lot during my practice exams and there was no apparent reason why it didn’t transfer to the actual LSAT. I’m just going to have to live with it I guess.
Despite the low score I decided to continue to apply to the law schools I wanted to go to. You never know if you don’t try. So the past couple of weeks have seen me apply at the following law schools:-
(In no particular order)
Harvard

Student Killed Day Before LSAT
I came across this article at statesman.com about a University of Texas senior, Brianna Becker, who was killed while jogging the day before she planned to take the LSAT.
While I was doing some last minute studying, she was struck by a Nissan Pathfinder as it left a state parking garge garage. She passed away not long after at the University Medical Center Brackenridge.
While I was sitting down and tackling Logical Reasoning questions, her family were grieving at the loss of a bright spark who probably had a potentially glowing career in law ahead of her.

Overall I think it went pretty well. My timing was almost spot on and I felt mostly confident throughout each section. The Reading Comprehension, my favourite because it’s my strongest section, was a pile of pants. I mean really, do they search the ends of the earth for the most boring passages to stick in
Counting down the days
It is six days until I take my second LSAT. I’m studying for a couple of hours every day following the homework given to me from my Powerscore weekend earlier this month. Despite my best efforts I’ve only been able to improve on one of my practice tests and then only by 8 points. Now 8 points is better than nothing, but I’m not maintaining it. I’m going to do maybe 2 or 3 more practice exams this week and hopefully I can score better on those two exams and then repeat the feat for real on Saturday.
I am still optimistic that my plans will fall into place, whether or not I score high on the LSAT. Everyday I’m pep-talking myself and encouragi
