Sidebar On A Tuesday Afternoon
So in the last blog, I wrote about achieving a little balance in our hectic lives. I am thoroughly disappointed and almost ashamed to say that I have yet to see enough of you at either Sidebar or Sensational Subs for Tues night beers with any regularity. Come on people…relax! I suppose it is difficult to do with all the hours we put into externships, internships, GRA positions, clerk positions, and school but come on…..live a little! And when you finally do go out and have that pre-bankruptcy martini or your pre Tax Law Bloody Mary because you had too many pre-bankruptcy martinis the night before (I know who you are….I’m sitting right next to you wondering who stole my pickled
Put a Little Life in Your Law
I thought I would take the liberty of subjecting all of you online followers to the inaugural post of "Put a Little Life in Your Law." It is the ongoing blog for the Georgia State University College of Law's Docket Newspaper of which I am the featured blogger. Law school is now in full swing and this year is shaping up to be crazier than the last. They say 1L year they scare you to death, 2L year they work you to death, and 3L year they bore you to death and although I can't yet speak to the latter, I feel that the first two holds true from most likely the majority of law students around the country. Law school can be very demanding and it is true that the law is a jealous mistress. Sh

Law school is once again in full swing and 2L is shaping up to be an interesting year. I started off with a few schedule changes and have now surprisingly settled in to a schedule that I feel I will really enjoy. A few days ago, NPR had a program on nerds. It was surprisingly.....nerdy. Today during tax law, faded memories of that NPR program popped up in my head as I realized that they were quite possibly talking about someone like me. I have fallen in love with Tax Law and Bankruptcy is following as a close second. The professor, who is the same for both courses, is dynamic and knowledgeable and this really helps in keeping us engaged in the material but I really find that the compl
