In the Shoes of Karmafish; In the Sandals of Hasan
(This started out as a response to Karmafish's comment here.  It expanded against my will into something too large and expansive for a comment, so I exiled it to this space.  I did not alter the comment before posting it here.) It might help if you were aware that Karmafish says he once thought of bin Laden as Emmanuel Goldstein.  (If you don't get the allusion, ask Karmafish.)  Karmafish discussed his feelings about the shooting at Ft. Hood and "radical Muslim terrorism," the subject of that essay and threads. My brilliant analysis, based on long experience, is so confusedly and meanderingly
Weekend Bike Blogging: Bike Boxes I Can Believe In

What about the statements that the Bill will cost us so much more in our

Good evening. I'm new to My Left Wing and looking forward to exploring. I used to use DailyKos to keep up with news and political goings-on. I didn't post much over there but enjoyed joining discussions occasionally and read the site on a daily basis. Until 48 hours ago. That's when a mysterious "warning" appeared on my account.   If you can't read that. It says: " 2009-11-04 17:21:05 Do not add "Troll Diary" to the diary tags. This violates the FAQ - see Tag Guidelines - and is a bannable offense. I understand the above warning (posting is no longer allowed until this is ac
