I am a huge fan of yours, and have been for quite some time now, but I need to get something off my chest! The 70's called, and want their baseball analysis back. I understand on PTI you are forced to fit in a lot of information in under a minute, and you don't want to go over the head of your audience, but please join the 21st century and use OPS, OPS+, Runs created etc. Plus the wins stat, while a decent indicator of a pitchers durability and skill, should never be used when comparing elite pitchers against each other. It is too much of a team stat, and not a reliable indicator when assessing a pitchers individual performance. I think if you spent a little time going over some of the breakthroughs in statistical analysis in baseball, you'll understand why Lincecum deserved the Cy Young, and hopefully retire your current baseball analysis back to the 70's like you did with your afro.
Ha, I hope you don't take offense. I tried to mold my response in honor of one of your rants.
Tell Charles Barkley hello for me.
