Happy Thanksgiving!
This year, I have so much to be thankful for. My amazing husband, wonderful family and great friends. I have truly never felt so lucky.
That is all.
Now go eat some turkey!

Wordless Wednesday: It’s a good thing she’s cute!
I came into the living room to the call of “Mom, I need some help.” Again. Here’s what I found:
I got an incredible sense of deja vu. I wonder why?
When should I start worrying?
On a totally unrelated and shameless note, are you a fan of My Messy
It’s, like, wicked annoying
I can’t take it. My almost 5 year old has started talking like a valley girl. She’s 5! Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins

1 tbsp baking powder
5 tbsp poppy seeds
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 soy milk (almond or rice milk will work just as well)
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup canola oil
2 tbsp lemon zest
2 tsp pure v
Ho, Ho, Ho! At least that’s what Grandma thinks of me
Home for the holidays! Oh, the joy!
9 years ago, Joe and I celebrated our first Christmas together. We had been dating for 6 months, and it was the first big family event that he would attend.
We started off at my Aunt’s house. My Aunt makes strong drinks. My mom had several. So did everyone else. Everyone else except us, it seems. We were heading out of town on a trip to Florida the day after Christmas, but also to NY to be with Joe’s parents later on Christmas Eve. My Grandmother asked me when we were leaving. Not sure if she meant to NY or to Florida, I asked her, “Leave for what?” She got real close and
