Fond Memories from Elementary School
Just thought I'd type up some of my most prominent memories from George Washington Carver Arts and Academics Magnet Elementary school or whatever its exact name was...Playing make-believe on the long bus ride from our secondary stop, Halcyon Elementary, all the way downtown and through the ghetto to our magnet Elementary. Every single day we pretended something. The one game that sticks out in my memory was when we were Icelandic shark fisherwomen (there were no boys on the morning bus, thank god, since back in those days all boys had cooties and were fun to beat up. NEW MOON TWIHARDS are annoyinnnnng
I saw New Moon.It was okay. I've read the book several times, so I already had a mental image of how everything goes...AND MAY I JUST SAY ONE THING?Those wolves were KICKASS! They were believable. (To an extent, that is.) And the growls they made sounded more like ROARS! You could feel them all throughout your body, and I started trembling during the fight scenes... aaaahhhh... wolfies! <333Edward isn't hot. I'm sorry. I don't care. He ISN'T. Jake is... Okay.Sam is hot, I suppose. But he's the ONLY semi-goodlooking boy in the entire movie

A story about my morning
I was rudely awakened from a dream about voting for the president of Wonderland (blame the drawing from yesterday's post) by two loud bangs on my door. At first I thought it was part of the dream. I distinctly remember mumbling "Leave me alone, you stupid, flea-bitten ball of fluff--you're not late!" and then the bangs happened again. The room took me about an hour and a half of drawing, coloring, and adding on and on...and on... and...ON to complete, but the finished product is good, I'll admit.Logon, Katy, Dad, Lori, and everyone else who saw this immediately went "ooh!"I think its the colors.
