Ofsted calling - digital mapping resources
One of the reasons I went self-employed was to avoid being forced to do things in particular ways to suit somebody else's agenda. However, it was bound to happen that at some point a school that I did PPA in would get the call, and so it has transpired this week. I've been doing some digital mapping with year 6 at Chorlton Park with a view to creating a Google Map mashed up with images from Flickr and hyperlinks to popular tourist destinations some of which were suggested by my Twitter lesson last week. Fantastic free Holocaust resource
Sharon Artley is a fellow ICT consultant from Whitby whose excellent RE blog has been hosted by me at Creative Blogs for a few years now. As well as lots of useful resources and ideas for the use of technology in RE, Sharon's real specialism is Holocaust Education. Recently she has been working with the Imperial War Museum to produce a "Holocaust Glossary" suitable for KS3 students.
