The Pocket invitation is one of our most popular styles for wedding and party invitations, so we love when clients are open to mixing in unique color and paper combinations. Ari and Allan’s antique gold pocket invitation for their December wedding is accented with a crinkled, hand-marbled paper from Thailand.

We had so much fun designing “upscale tropical” invitations and accessories for this beautiful wedding. This event was also particularly special to me for several reasons. First, Neil and Coral got married on my birthday. Second, I was able to indulge in one of my absolute favorite pasttimes…collecting seashells. We used real scallop seashells on their table number cards and “Mr.” and “Mrs.” chair hangtags. File this under ‘better late than never’ This beautiful wedding took place at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Brooklyn, New York. The reception was held at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, New York. Mary’s bi-lingual pocket invitations were in chocolate brown, fairway green and ivory.
