In which I consider Tolerance
Tolerance is one thing. Acceptance is another.
Toleration is controversial in itself, it places those who happen to be different from me in the basket of aberration. Take dogs, for example.

At first I thought it was a secret society with funny pawshakes. I thought there would be an impossible eligibility criteria based on breeding and familial connections, a huge waiting list, long lists of rules and exotic initiation ceremonies. I envied the relative ease in which some cats can be accepted into these elite groups.

I’m going to be an investigative journalist. That’s a very important job. It takes a keen brain, a sense of righteousness and a high level of interpersonal skills to deeply investigate a topic of interest like political corruption, dog-bullying or some juicy scandal.
In the tradition of true journalism I will arrive at my own conclusions about the truth of a story.
