Today The Clarion-Ledger ran a letter I wrote to the editor concerning the recent vote by the School Board to discontinue the strings program in Jackson public schools--a program that has been around for 42 years.http://www.clarionledger.com/article/20091028/OPINION02/910280329/1009/Reconsider-cut-of-JPS--strings-Several others (including students) have written similar letters to express their disappointment.
