First and foremost, we congratulate the 2009 World Series Champion New York Yankees. They were the best team all season and were clearly the better team in this series. We recap Game One of the World Series and talk about the incredible pitching performance of Cliff Lee. There was a question on the post game show in Philly if it was the best pitching performance in a Phillies uniform, given the circumstances, that any of the guys in the studio had seen. Darren Daulton was there and he caught Curt Schilling’s 2-0 WS Game Five shutout. He even said that Lee’s performance was close, and maybe even better.
