Lifesaver bottle: using nanotechnology to make filthy water potable
First heard about this revolutionary invention that lets people drink filthy floodwater from my dad. Was super excited to read about an initiative by The Clean Water Project to bring the Lifesaver bottle to the Philippines:The Clean Water Project aims to transform the deadly floodwaters of Typhoon Ondoy (international name Ketsana) into life giving, pure drinking water. It is a collaboration among old friends who are committed to doing whatever we can do, and work for as long as there is work to be done.

Got goosebumps when I first scanned the NDCC Situation Report on Ondoy and saw names of the official dead, where they were from, and how they died...These are people who need our prayers.
