A Look Back...
Moywood was a success!  We had so much fun going and sharing the Christ love and provision to people in need!  We personally handed out over 240 complete thanksgiving meals this year with our largest group of volunteers to date! Over 70 men, women and children showed up ready to serve.  Check out Pastor Greg's comments before we got started Saturday... One of the most awesome things that happend that day was a little boy who lives in the neighborhood saw what we were doing and asked if he could help us! How awesome is that! We were so blessed to have someone
Rocket Science
Scientists at NASA built a gun specifically to launch four-pound dead chickens at the windshields of airliners, military jets and the space shuttle, all traveling at maximum velocity. The idea was to simulate the frequent incidents of collisions with airborne fowl to test the strength of the windshields. No matter how many days it had been since I had seen the sun it didn't keep me from knowing that it would event
Revealing Him to Our Community
Its time again for our annual Moywood outreach. Over 60 volunteers have gathered in the past years to joyfully give a little blessing to families in need.     We have seen incredible things in the hearts and people of Moywood since we started going door-to-door every year to personally hand out over 280 comple
True Peace
A king once offered a sizable sum to any artist that could capture the truest essence of peace in a painting for his castle walls. Thousands of artists responded to the challenge and presented the king with the most beautiful paintings imaginable. After much consideration, the king narrowed his choices to two.One was of a serenely calm lake that reflected the towering, green hills like a mirror. Above the hills could be seen the fluffy white clouds in such detail that the soft movement of the breeze could be detected. Meandering down the mountainside was a bubbling brook from which a doe drank lazily of the cool waters. All who gazed upon it at once sighed, the countenance of thei
