Very busy indeed!
It has been a busy time around our house with renovating the backyard! The garden is in place, the soil has been dug out and now the patio roof and posts are gone!! I told Jas today that I like all the natural light that was pouring in the kitchen window and dining room doors - but then it got hot! Really hot!! So I want my roof back now - thankfully it will be put up tomorrow! Amber and I have even picked out some Christmas lights to decorate it with!As promised here is another layout for Sophia's album:
Gramma cuddles
I'm going through Sophia's album and trying to get it all up to date before her birthday - it's amazing how many photos I haven't scrapped yet! These are from when she was born - I guess all mum's can understand that hazy few months where nothing gets done around the house - including scrapping! So keep your eye out - I have quite a few layouts coming...
School's nearly out!
Can you believe Amber is nearly finished school for the year!! It's hard to believe that the year has flown by so quickly. Amber has absolutely loved school this year thanks in part to her wonderful teacher Miss Appleton whom we were fortunate enough to have for 3 terms before she had to leave. Sadly Amber now has a very inexperienced teacher who is terrible at her job and Amber now hates school so much so that she pretends she's sick each weekend to try and get out of going. Personally the woman is a nasty piece of work and should have no business teaching children who are at the beginning of their education. I really hope we can turn Amber's behavior around and help her to enjoy scho
A Wet & Wild Trip
We all went to Wet & Wild today and had so much fun!! I pretty much relaxed in the wading pool most of the day with Sophia - meeting and chatting with mums and dads and their kids who loved Sophia while Jas took Amber on all the rides that would make me scream! Little daredevil!! It was a really hot day which was perfect for swimming but we burnt our feet everywhere that we went - so I don't have too many photos of our day. This was Jason's Work Christmas party for the kids so we were all under a large roof at one end of the park - so it was a bit of a hike from there to where we were swimming. Here are some of the photos I did get:
A virtual baby shower
One of my Sassy Blinging Babe sisters was showered over the weekend with tiny little clothes and a gorgeous album made my each one of us!! I unfortunately couldn't attend (even though I really really wanted to!) because it was at 3am my time!! Each of the 17 babes created an ATC and a page for a secret album that we made Shannon. I was in charge of the games so I chose "internet friendly" ones like cross-words, the a-z of baby boy names, measure mum's bump, name that animal and fill in the blanks in the nursery rhymes. The girls all had a ton of fun over at SB.com - reading what Shannon was up to as she opened her presents with the help of her son and husband. Here is the page and ATC
