Fins Put Up Fight But Patriots Prevail; Beat Miami 27-17
You never know quite what to expect when you match up the Miami Dolphins against the New England Patriots regardless of the season or what the team’s records are when they play. The only thing you can usually count on is a somewhat exciting game and the contest Sunday at Gillette Stadium would fit into that description. The Dolphins hung tough for three quarters and did not go down without putting up a battle.

Pats Sign DB Arrington from the Practice Squad
The Patriots have signed defensive back Kyle Arrington from their practice squad.
Arrington was added to the 53-man roster on Sunday before the Patriots game with the Miami Dolphins.
He originally was signed by Philadelphia as a rookie free agent out of Hofstra and started the 2008 season on the Eagles practice squad. He spent most of that season on Tampa Bay’s practice squad and played his first NFL game in this season’s opener for the Buccaneers against the Dallas Cowboys.
Tampa Bay waived him on Sept. 14 and New England signed him to its practice squad on Sept. 21. The Patriots had a roster opening when they released guard Kendall Simmons on Friday.
