Remembering Cynthia Harper
Let me start with this when talking about Cynthia J. Harper: Cynthia was my friend. And with this: Cynthia was a fine poet. For more than ten years, we met almost every Wednesday for lunch and for talk about poetry and poets and almost anything else we could think of. We started our lunches at La Foccacia on the corner of South Alamo Street and St. Mary’s and then, when that Italian grill banned smoking, continued on the patio of the Blue Start Brewery.
