Description: This is a blog to follow the trip of J-D that went out to Peru and Colombia volunteering in children’s homes. I went to four children’s homes in Peru and one in Colombia. I am back in Northern Ireland and will write a pamphlet up to tell of my adventure and what I will do now. the main thing is to reach the Goal of setting up a children's home back in Peru in the city of Arequipa where I was adopted from..i hope that many people are with me to make a difference, by may be getting involved in some small way. this i think will take 5 years but with your help of many people it can work.. Rough plan Set up charity and do and lot of fundraising and sorting things out before setting up anything in Peru.. "who,what and then why"
This week I have been thinking very intensely about the concept of ‘a calling’ - something which God has set upon one’s heart in which to follow Him specifically. Naturally as a human I have been asking myself many questions about this. I am constantly thinking about the future and how big and daunting it is. The danger is that it can be without God.. And that’s where you ask yourself again and again the fundamental questions that brought you to this point, to check that you are living for the right thing and not just a dream land or wayward feelings.
