Wow, I can't believe a week has passed since myself, the boy and our group of crazy runner friends ran our second half marathon.We have been busy, busy. I'm (more than) happy to be in recovery time and taking a couple of weeks off from running to be laaazy (from a running perspective at least) and allow my body to heal. Running but more specifically training for two half marathons consecutively has definitley taken its toll on my body and now is the time to rest, strengthen and then begin running again, but just for fun (till spring race season at least).In our 'spare time' we've been busy making preparations for the new house. Cloud Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine
What a week it has been for myself and the boy. A whirlwind of sorts.After toasting last Sunday evening to finding our house (a quest we first began mid-summer and continued thrice weekly in the subseqeuent weeks that have followed) we found our house on Tuesday night, followed by an offer presentation on Wednesday and today we signed the paper work officially making us home owners. Yay!We also booked a sunny cruise vacation for this fall.. like I said, it's been a busy week. We are thrilled and over the moon with excitement. We can't wait to finally make our space 'our own'.Now, off to celebrate with a bottle of champagne that has been waiting to be crac
Less than two weeks...
Till our next half marathon!Going away for a course a few days before and trying to juggle all of the other balls that are up in the air right now makes for a very busy (read: tired) girl. Regardless, I'm excited for what this fall will bring!
