The Luck of The Irish
I've been pretty lucky over the last month. I seemed to be a prize magnet! If there was a competition, I won it - even when I didn't know there was a competition! First up, I won some Agoo Leghuggers. All I had to do to win these was click on 'like' on a status update on Agoo's Facebook page & that was it! These are so cute & soft! Busy Mach II
It seems that I have been busy being busy lately. I've been trying to sort out Lily's birthday party(which is on Sunday & I have fears that all of our guests are going to melt in this heat!), Christmas presents,(I swear that I am NOT going to leave everything until the last minute again), The Man Of The House's 30th birthday, trying to keep the house clean, sort out the back room yet again(I think this is the 20th time this year!), trying to prepare Piper for her very first dancing concert, organise activities for playgroup & trying to get through my work-in-progress box(which has now spilled over into a pile & I fear it may take over the entire house!). On Monday morning at 8.51am my little Lily turned one. One. Already. I can't believe it. She went from a tiny little squishy baby to a beautiful little girl in the blink of an eye. Lily was born, with blisters at the base of both thumbs(because the little Miss had been sucking on her thumbs in the womb - it's still her favourite thing!) on her due date after a 7 hour & 1 minute drug-free labour. That would explain why by the end of it I was yelling that, 'I'm going to die!' But I survived & was rewarded with the most precious baby girl. It was love at first sight for all of us. And when Piper finally met her little sister(at that point she called her 'Wiwi'), it was just amazing. Sh
