9 Things
9 Things I am thankful for this Veteran's Day1. Freedom. I love being able to worship my God without fear of persecution. I am thankful for having had the freedom to choose to homeschool my children in the past. 2. My family's military legacy. My mother's side of the family is filled with service members from each branch. I am able to enjoy a picture of my amazing Uncle in a fighter jet flying in Japan. My grandfather told some interesting war stories toward the end of his life. Generation after generation, there are heroes! I want my children to understand that their family had a part in giving them the freedom they enjoy today.3.

It makes great teacher/postal worker/church authority/hostess gift :) Take some time to poke around her blog, it's full of GREAT organizational tips.Laurie at Tip Junkie posted some wonderful ideas for your Thanksgiving centerpieces. I love this blog because you can find out how to do/save on/make just about anything!

Tonight's dinner was herbed pork tenderloin with an apricot/orange puree (not the apricot chutney I wanted to make) on well doctored canned yams (not the yummy fresh mashed sweet potato/carrot mash I wanted to make) with brown gravy and peas (because they actually sounded yummy tonight, but again, not the intended vegetable). Don't forget.. cupcakes for dessert! Please excuse our craft ta
Blog world
It occured to me today that there is a blog world. It's a place with it's own unique culture. There are those who we would consider blog royalty or even blog divas. There's the average bloggers. Don't forget the bargain or idea hounds. I'm a fan of the free fanatics and thrifty bloggers. There's a lot of wanna be bloggers... and THAT is the category I would consider myself. I was checking out a friend's blog when HOLY COW!!!! I realized the Nester visits her blog.. on a regular basis. WHAT?!!!! Talk about blog royalty! Oh yeah, they inspire each other! To me that's amazing.. surely all people in the decorating blog world know The Nester. How
