It involved a man who could use mind control, and as one would expect, this particular criminal had some serious moral deficiencies. Smallville, S9 E8 Review: Idol
While I felt that the season got off to a slow and confusing start, the writers have settled in nicely and the show is finding its way back into my good graces. It still has its definite flaws, but it’s easy to forgive when I come away from an episode satisfied. Granted, it’s still early in the season, and the writers tend to lose their way in the second half time and again, but for now, I’m good with “Smallville”. Bleeding Cool Rich Johnston has some good news for Joss Whedon fans still broken up about the cancelling of Doll House–Dark Horse Comics’ Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 8 is getting the deluxe motion comic treatment.
