Preacher’s Pen Survey
Across the country, many preachers live in a somewhat isolated world. Their closest friends might be hundreds of miles away preaching at another congregation. It is seldom to find preachers eating lunch together are the nearest restaurant like you see many people eating together from work. Preachers have a tendency to be “lone rangers” of the working world. I wanted to dive into the lives and the work schedules of preachers a little more than usual, so I have added a survey below. Please take a moment and fill out the questions as best as you can.
The survey is designed for preachers; whether part-time or full-time. I wanted to gain some insights into the number of hours preac

The Necessity of Baptism – A History
Today’s sermon was a different take on baptism than most have heard before. How to Waste Time (An Old Post Revisited)
From time to time, I enjoy pulling out some past posts and reposting them for you to read. I enjoy doing this because it helps me to see how I have grown in my thoughts (sometimes not too much) and I get to strengthen myself. I forget thoughts from time to time and I am thankful that they are written down.
Take a moment and give this past post on “How to Waste Time” a quick read and let me know what you think!
Enjoy!

When I finally began reading in college, I found something I love to do. Whether I am reading fiction, scholarly books, language studies, biographies or leadership resources, it is hard to put a book down and get back to work. The words of the author fill my imagination and I begin putting myself into the story or study. Reading has become a fascinating aspect of life.
Outside of the Bible, there have been some great books which have helped to influence my and my ministry. I have listed a few of t
