Where on earth do I start?
I have seen too many aimless presentations in my life not to be able to answer this question decisively. Lets ask the obvious question: Why are you making this particular presentation? I am often amazed at how folk tie themselves into proverbial knots trying to answer this question. So let me phrase it another way. What do you want your audience to do after you’ve spoken? Therein lies the answer to the question “where on earth do I start?” If you’re selling, you want them to buy. If you’re philosophising, you want them to buy-in, and then do ….what?
