Home!
Actually, I’ve been home from MQS since Friday night. But I needed a little recovery time … and a little kitty (& hubby) snuggle time. The show was wonderful! It is always a joy to see old friends and to meet new ones. The competition was stiff, but my “Queen of the Nereids” managed an honorable m

Sunset Sail
Today is the reveal for the Fiberactions challenge “split complementary”. Since it is a travel day for me and I’m posting from the airport, this will be fairly short. I chose to work with a 5 color split with turquoise as my main color and red, orange-red, orange, yellow-orange, and orange-yellow as

Well, I finished the applique on my Fiberactions quilt today, so it’s ready to quilt! Probably won’t happen until Monday…we have a pretty full weekend. My 2 quilts for the MQS auction are completely done; that means bound, sleeves on, labels on and suitably blinged! Yeah, I know I made that word up

The Queen is Finished!
Totally…and more than 3 weeks before she needs to be shipped! Yippee !!! That is a new record for me, as I am usually finishing up the final stitches on a label or sleeve just as the FedEx guy is ringing the doorbell for pickup! I’m really pleased with her… and though she isn’t perfect, [...]
