Tennessee Schedule and City Soleil DVD
Hey everyone! Mike and I made it safely to Tennessee last Saturday night. We are enjoying spending time with all of our friends and family. The kids are doing well in Haiti, and Abraham is keeping up everything while we’re gone. We have several speaking opportunities while we’re in and want to invite you to come and see us! Below is our schedule while we are in. If you would like to have us speak at your church, small group, etc. while we’re in, please email us asap.
We would like to thank the RIO Network of Ch
Why we do what we do!
Mike and I received a letter yesterday that we wanted to share with all of you. Wesley, who is 19, moved into our house about 6 weeks ago. He has been a great help to us. When Abraham is in school, Wesley helps with the kids, goes to the market, and translates for us. He also knows how to sow and has made some uniforms for our kids to start school. Wesley takes time everyday before he goes to school to pray with the kids and teach them new songs in both Creole and English. He has been a blessing to us and our home. Wesley grew up in an orphanage with Abraham. His father died, and his mother was too poor to take care of him. He had asked Mike and I if he could stay here and help us do wha
It said, “Lucifer”
With evil in her face, a deep voiced responded and said, “Lucifer.”
With a week of prayer behind us and great anticipation in our hearts, we visited a new area last night. The question was simply this: “Does the Lord want us to begin a new fellowship in this area?” While preparing to show the Jesus film, the crowd had already grown to over 150 people. They were excited we had visited them and were already asking us to return.
We had over 500 people watching the film just after darkness had fallen. I was sitting on the motorcycle praying for God to convict people as they learn of the true lif
Meet our kids!
We have updated the website so you can all learn about each of the kids who live in our home. Read their stories and learn where they come from! We are trying to get all of our kids in school asap but we need your help to do it! We have started an Education Sponsorship Program which allows you to help us send our kids to school! For only 15$ per month or $180 per year, you can send a child to school! This amount also includes the cost of tuition, all books, and their uniform. Education in Haiti is very important because it will increase our kids’ chance for a better life once they leave our home! For only fifty cents per day, you can give the gift of education!
A long and sleepless night…
Evangelism at a voodoo temple near our house
What a night! Last night was a normal night for Andrea and myself. We were very happy to see a local church was having a street service/crusade near our home. This is what we had been praying for: the local church to actively share the gospel in this community. We went to bed around 10:30 since it had already been dark about 5 hours. Shortly after retiring, I was awakened by the loud sound of the local voodoo temple having a service.
