I searched for a quote to try and sum up my activities of late and this was the best I could come up with. My life has been quite full lately and my curiosity for learning new things and new techniques never seems to slow down. If anything I probably try to cram too many things in at once. I've been busy as a beaver in my studio at home as well as at the pottery studio for the past month or so.I joined the North Suburban Needle Arts Guild back in September and have taken TWO workshops which has really jump-started my desire to play around with fabrics and threads. I have been so busy lately that I haven't posted in weeks. So many 'irons in the fire' as they say that I'm running in circles. Rather than go through the laundry list of things I've been up to, I will make a quick post today to thank TWO people who sent me an award WEEKS ago. This award is supposed to be sent on to 7 other people and I'm supposed to tell you 7 things about myself... Well,I think I'll just take the lazy way o

I have been so slack in posting since early Sept but I've kept busy so that's a good thing. The only thing I have completed to show you is some fabric collages I made for some blog friends: Becky, Marsha & Terri.I posted a blog giveaway back in March and they were the lucky winners. I've heard from them all since they received their pieces and I believe they're quite happy with them. Terri even called me from PA to chat.It was a delight to actually talk to someone that I've only exchanged blog comments with. We have quit

Since we are now into October, Breast Cancer Awareness month, I would like to remind you all to get your mammogram!
