As promised here is a quick step by step tutorial to a 40s style hair do. It’s really dead easy to do, though you will find it gets easier to do with practice. One day I’ll do some tutorials on video, but right now I don’t have anything that videos for longer than 30 seconds, so step by step photos will have to do. I came across Beautiful Soul at the estEthica exhibition at London Fashion Week and got another look at the press day a couple of weeks ago. Designer Nicola Woods only graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2008 and, after spending her summer designing for a Charity in South Africa, returned to the UK to establish Beautiful Soul in November 2008. What she created is a fashion label that truly tries to bring an ethical vision to all areas of the business.

It’s fantasy shopping time….. I’m a little obsessed with Audrey Hepburn at the moment, what with 2 gorgeous hardbook books to giveaway and channelling her hair. So, this had to be the time that a collection of her clothing is going on sale at Kerry Taylor Auctions. The collection was donated by an old friend and 50% of the proceeds from the sale will go to the Audrey Hepburn Childrens Fund.
