Bright and Kokubo win Halfpipe World Cup in Saas-Fee
Australians Torah Jane Bright and the Japanese Kazuhiro Kokubo have won the second Halfpipe Competition of the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup 2009/2010 against the world elite of the freestyle talents. Kokubo was on fire in the perfect shaped super pipe of Saas-Fees (SUI) freestyle park Allalin. With a clean first run and spectacular jumps he claimed the victory ahead of Mathieu Crepel (FRA) and Peetu Piiroinen (FIN). First ever big air in Barcelona
During the 7th and 8th of November the Olimpic Stadium, Lluis Companys, is going to undergo the greatest metamorphosis to become the home of the Barcelona Snow Show, the first event in Spain to bring the snow to the city to the best national and international riders of snowboarding and freestyle skiing. Matti Kinnunen wins in Nissan Stomp It
In the best conditions that Modena has ever seen, Finnish snowboarding superstar on the rise, Matti Kinnunen, took home the title of the 4Star Nissan Stomp It, in front of screaming Italian fans and European top riders. In its 15th year, this snowboard event is now on the Swatch TTR Tour for the third year running, and has rapidly grown to a 4Star event.
