Jax turns 2!
Today, our youngest turned 2...it's bittersweet. He is growing up so fast. As previous posted (here), Jax is sick so we worked hard to help him enjoy today. The virus is contagious, so the family members that were coming to town (Grandma, Cousin Jordan, Uncle Jason, & Cousin Meagan) couldn't come to help us celebrate. Yesterday morning, Jax woke up super cranky. I thought nothing about it, but maybe allergies were bothering him like they are me. He required constant holding mid-morning on and then I started thinking....great, he is getting sick just in time for his birthday. By lunchtime, I was calling the doctors office as I could tell he was quickly going downhill. When leaving our house for the doctor's office he had a fever of 101 and zero energy. Earlier he put his finger in his right ear and said "hurt", so I figured he had his first ear infection. He was miserable.Doctor said he had a ear infection plus a virus.
