Moment of Silence for the Warriors at Fort Hood
This morning in my email I received notification that the Secretary of Defense had ordered a moment of silence today at 1:34 pm to honor the victims of the shooting at Fort Hood yesterday. After I read the email I set the alarm on my cell phone to 1:33 p.m. so I would remember to observe this important rite. Then I set off on my day as usual.1:33 p.m. found me in the produce section of Market Street in Colleyville. I had just said hello to a Marine who passed me in the butcher's shop (he was wearing a USMC shirt.) I'm pretty sure the Marine I said hello to was Gen Terrance R. Dake USMC (ret). When I got home I checked online for a photo and there was significant similarity.
