Part 2 - Wedding of Linda and Peter [melbourne wedding photography]
Congratulations to a beautiful couple. You truly shine with happiness. Enjoy these, and I hope to have your full gallery ready shortly after you return. Huge thanks to my lovely wedding photography partner Kim Selby, please head over to her blog to see her beautiful photographs. The confetti shot is pretty much my fave photo for 2009! S-
Part 1 - Wedding of Linda and Peter [melbourne wedding photography]
Welcome to the house of happy….. Is there any place more magical than the home of a bride-to-be in the hours leading up to her wedding? There is just such a buzz in the air, a sense of occasion; relatives and friends buzzing in and out with bouquets, corsages, cameras, all manner of bridal accoutrements (= ’stuff’). Everybody is excited, and happy, and just generally high on life. It is such a privilege as a wedding photographer to just share in a little of that for half an hour or so, and to capture those little moments that actually make up the fabric of the day; that make it truly memorable, special and unique. Linda, this is how beautiful and happy you
The flying K family [melbourne family photography]
The lovely K family actually live in Singapore, and they managed to find some time to meet up with me during a flying visit to Melbourne, squeezed in among visiting relatives, including a brand new baby cousin. We initially planned a Brighton/Sandringham session, but a Tiger and Britney-induced accomodation crisis meant the K’s ended up in Point Cook. So we headed to a favourite atmospheric location of mine, in Werribee South. It’s fairly safe to say that the gorgeous Misses S and M were not as in love with this location as I am, but I think we still managed some lovely photos, even if it took a while. Thanks you soooo much D and I for your patience, I hope you enjoy this sne
Miss S’s Busy Day [melbourne child photography]
Well as you can see from this gorgeous preview, Miss Sand I got very busy last Friday. Starting off with a romp around Surrey Hill’s Wattle Park, and finishing up at home, I had an absolute ball with this little darling and her utterly delightful mum and dad. There was flower-picking, there were musical instruments, there was snacking (possibly on the aforementioned flowers), there was dancing in the living room (oh she is such a groover - she’s totally into the Black Eyed Peas) . There was also some carrying of furniture around the garden, although it turns out that that was more a part of dad’s busy day than Miss S’s. We got soooo many lovely photos that capture
Little Big Baby J [melbourne newborn photography]
It seems bonnie baby boys, with more than a wee bit of padding and length on them, have been flavour of the month here lately. How lucky am I? Here is the perfect baby J, photographed at my studio in Surrey Hills, Melbourne. Just a quick a preview today as my computer is off to the mac hospital. J and S, will post a few more for you when I get the Mac back tomorrow, but for now, here is your little darling, and your beautiful selves…
