Ground Game Key on Both Sides of Ball in Seahawks 27-17 Victory over Rams
Julius Jones, your seat just got a little warmer courtesy of Justin Forsett. After an abysmal 9-yard game last week in Minnesota, the scrappy little back out of Cal tore up the St. Louis defense Sunday as his Seahawks roughed up the Rams 27-17. On the ground, Forsett ate up 130 yards on 22 touches.  He also got into the end zone twice. Forsett got the start today because regular starter Julius Jones had to sit out for a second consecutive week due to a rib injury.
FS Jordan Babineaux Fined $5,000 Again By NFL
NFP.com reports that safety Jordan Babineaux was fined another $5 G for a facemask penalty last week vs the Vikings: Seahawks safety Jordan Babineaux was fined $5,000 for a major facemask violation in last Sunday’s game at the Metrodome. Babineuax was nabbed for grabbing the facemask of Minnesota wide receiver Percy Harvin. He was fined $7,500 for a horse collar tackle of Arizona’s Anquan Boldin the previous week.
Week Twelve Preview: Seattle at St. Louis
One week after taking on the juggernaut that is the Minnesota Vikings, the Seahawks head to St. Louis this weekend to take on the Rams. Talk about two completely opposite sides of the spectrum. While it seemed that the Vikings had weapons at every position, the Rams (1-10) have only one real threat, running back Steven Jackson. Jackson is coming into the weekend with four straight games of at least 100 rushing yards.  Jackson is the only running back in Rams’ history to rush for five straight seasons.  Jackson is also a big receiving threat out of the backfield, already having 35 receptions this season. Aside from Jackson, St. Louis is young, inexperienced
Seahawks Aim for 10th Consecutive Victory Against the Rams on Sunday
The Seahawks enter their final week of three consecutive road games with a trip to St. Louis this Sunday. It is the third time in franchise history that Seattle has had three straight road games on the schedule (1997, 2000). In each of those seasons, Seattle posted a 1-2 record during the stretch. Kickoff is slated for 10am (PT) and the game will be televised on FOX (channel 13 in Seattle) and broadcast on News Talk 97.3 KIRO FM and on 710 ESPN Radio in Seattle. It will be the 23rd regular season meeting between the two clubs and 16th since joining the NFC West in 2002. Seattle leads the series, 13-9. The Seahawks have won 11 of the last 14 meetings and are in the midst of a nine
We’re Down to Four: The List of Potential College Quarterbacks for the Seahawks’ 2010 NFL Draft
As we all know, Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks for what we are fortunate to have.  With the season wearing on for the Seahawks, we continually see more and more how badly some key pieces are missing on the team.  Thankfully there’s the opportunity to fix them come April. In this fourth part of my five-part series taking a look at which college quarterback should have a Seahawks logo on his helmet next season, I trim the fat from our initial watch list of seven gunslingers and narrow our sights on some of the nation’s crème de la crème. One huge asterisk that needs to be taken note of is that, in my process of eliminating a few of the initial members of the wa
