Description: Have you ever been to a mom-and-pop convenience store and encountered a large jar of giant dill pickles sitting open near the register? I have. Many times. There’s usually a bit of papers taped to the jar with a price-per-pickle boldly displayed. If you have ever purchased one of those pickles and lived to tell the story, I’d especially like to talk to you. I’m a writer, avid reader, tea-enthusiast, and know how to put just the right amount of lime in a gin-and-tonic. But many people write without thinking, read without digesting, hate tea, and drink bad gin. Check me if you ever catch me stumbling similarly! Comment Policy: Please, make yourself at home. As in any home, thoughtful conversation, hearty laughter, and friendly banter is always welcome and appreciated. If you feel the need to lash out at somebody, direct your energies at me, not the other visitors. This is my house and if you’re going to yell at somebody, yell at me. I expect you to respect and admire the other readers of this blog just as much as I do. (Besides, most of them are smarter than me and you’d have a better chance at winning an argument with me.) That said, welcome! You can find me on Twitter as @sethsimonds, Facebook, or drop me an email at sethsimonds at gmail dot com. Have a great day! I’m serious about the pickle thing. Really. Get in touch. I’ve never met anybody who will admit to purchasing such a confectionery.
