A Peapod Recordings Playlist
So I haven’t made a label playlist in a while and I noticed the good folks over at IODA have a fair amount from one of my favourite Portland (East side: Maine, not west side: Oregon) labels – Peapod Recordings!
With the new Brown Bird album coming out, it reminded me that this label needs some more attention, and that is where I come in. There are quite a few great albums on the label – Brown Bird, Chris
When you don’t know much, you let the music tell the story – Ehroehed
So I don’t know how I got a hold of these songs, but I recently found them again. They are not even on an album as far as I know and I can’t find too much on this Vancouver artists. Lucas sent me the CD the other week which was actually released in 2008 and I was completely unaware of it! Did I say I like getting great musical recommendat
Today, I am thankful for great acoustic videos
This is just one of the ones that Slowcoustic favourite The Black Atlantic recommended just this morning over on Musikmob. Just thought I would post one of the two great videos from Nadja out of Germany – or as she is known is recording circles: binoculers. Definitely head over to Musikmob to check out the kitchen performance, once it gets started it is absolutely stunning!
