Giving Thanks
Our Number One Reason to be Thankful was super excited for his first Thanksgiving today! He got all dressed up and headed over to his Granny's house for a feast--a feast he watched us all enjoy!Eddie LOVES his Granny and Grampy! He had fun playing with all of his aunts and uncles, but boy did he have stories to tell his Granny! And then, with the football game on the TV, he tuckered himself
Every day, Something New
Eddie came home from daycare at Amy Jo's yesterday with something for his momma and daddy...his first "craft": a Thanksgiving card that had a turkey on it made from his hand! And then today...he decided he could feed himself, thank you very much. Every day it's something new with this one, I tell ya. And we are thankful to be part of it!
In the Midst of the Crap...A Shining Smile
It's so easy to focus on the negative stuff and walk around with a thunder cloud over head. I admit, I did it most of the day. It was hard to be surrounded with all the questions about the layoff stuff and what I think will happen and what am I doing and blah, blah, blah. It's easy to get sucked into that crap. But then I got home and remembered something....THIS GUY IS 5 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!!
This Kid LOVES Food!
Click "play" to watch how much Eddie loves to eat. It's no wonder that he is in the 95th percentile for weight!
Sluiter Nation Weather Forecast: Stormy and Uncertain
Ed looks worried in this picture, but not because he found out I got a pink slip today (more about that in a minute), but because he is doing something new that he is pretty unsure about...and so are his parents.Sometimes doing new things is scary and you stomp your feet because you don't want to go through it. That is how we felt when Cort lost his job five weeks ago. He is still on
