it's Christmastime!

I never picked a “side” when reading the books but I did after seeing this movie! My daughter and three of our friends went to see New Moon last night. I know all the little girls are fighting over who is cuter; all I saw was the crushed look on Jacob’s face (Taylor Lautner) when Bella told him it was always Edward. Broke my heart! Have to say that movie was better than book.

old films
I love old movies, and my daughter is starting to enjoy them, also.  Today, we watched Penny Serenade.  Some consider this a “Christmas” flick and that could apply.  But it’s just a dang good movie.  Cary Grant is great.

2012!
A whole family crew (my daughter, two aunts & two cousins) went to see 2012 today. So it may not have been the best storyline or whatever the critics look at (like I care) but it was great fun! It was a little longer that it needed to be, and at times there was so much action I thought I would pee my pants! But great, fun movie and John Cusack…cute and good as always!

Veterans Day Parade
My son is in JROTC and they were in our local Veterans Day Parade which was held today.

Mom’s girls night out
I went out with some friends tonight and saw Couples Retreat. Was funnier than I expected. And directed by Peter Billingsley (Ralphie from A Christmas Story).
