Whether you love him or hate him, Tito Ortiz has helped build the UFC brand into the powerhouse it is today. Ortiz was originally managed by Dana White prior to their affiliation with UFC. He fought in his debut at UFC13 back in 1997, and has never looked back. Throughout the years, he has been dominant as a light heavyweight, becoming the longest reigning champion in the division to this day. Last Week: 3-1 (+.55 units)
YTD: 18-12-1 (+11.61 units)
The Denver Broncos nearly erased all of my winnings last week because of the big unit wager. Of course the game you are most confident in is the one to nearly bankrupt you. The betting gods weren’t looking out for me on that one. Underdogs have been hitting at an amazing clip against the spread, and Vegas couldn’t be enjoying it more. Now that everyone is on the dogs, I’ll be looking for favorites to pick it back up here, and at least go .500 in week 11.
What I would’ve done if I were…
Bill Belichick – Punted. This was not one of those “hind sight is 20-20” moves. This was a move that is only made when you are blinded by your own awesomeness. When they didn’t send the punting team out, I thought to myself, “Bill Belichick has the biggest set of balls in the NFL.” When the Colts got the ball on their own 30 yard line, I thought, “Bill Belichick is the dumbest guy in the world.”
