Religion is a Lot Like Monopoly

Got Turkey?
Even better than the turkey dinner are the myriad of uses for leftover turkey.  Let me share a few of my ideas with you: Turkey sandwiches; I like mine with mayo, tomatoes and pickle slices. Use turkey instead of ham to make split-pea soup and other soups that call for pork or chicken or beef. Sliced turkey breast instead of bacon for breakfast.

Who Do Atheists Thank on Thanksgiving?
Ever wonder what an atheist does to give thanks on Thanksgiving Day?  Just who do we thank, one may ask?  Well, here is a partial list of those I owe thanks:   I thank my boss for a great job that is full of enjoyment and challenges I thank our public safety personnel for protecting us, police officers, fire fighters, EMTs and so forth

God's Command's are Variable? Geographically Limited?
Religion is weird, but that is because it is of man, not gods.  In the story about Patrick Kennedy's banishment from communion (View Story by Clicking here), it seems he is banned from communion only in Rhode Island, but apparently not in other states.  Amazing.  God is geographic, or, his powers are llimited by geography.

What Now, Norfolk City Council?
According to a recent news item, Two Injured Inside Parking Garage, closing Bar Norfolk and Have a Nice Day Cafe does not seem to have stopped garage shootings.  There's a church nearby, is it now going to have its doors chained and padlocked? Let's wait and see what asinine action City Council takes to "alleviate" this continuing problem.  I'm afraid to guess.  

Who Really Cares?
In an on-line story this morning, Robertson's Islam remarks puts (sic) McDonnell on the spot, concern is expressed about the connection between our Governor-Elect, Bob McDonnell, and Pat Robertson, doddering individual. My opinion on this pseudo issue?  Falderal Baloney! For several reasons this should not be an issue: Bob McDonnell is not Pat Robertson's keeper.
