I’m Spec, and I’m about to embark on a lifelong adventure of city exploring. I have recently discovered a serious love for traveling and hope to make the best of every place I visit or live in. I am from Toronto originally, and moved out to Halifax when I was 17, only three and a half years ago.
Toronto is a great city, but I think anyone would agree that the city they grew up in doesn’t hold as much excitement as a city they have never visited. It’s a bit complicated, but I moved to Halifax for school, stayed for two years and then returned to Toronto for a year, and now am back in Halifax once again with a whole new outlook on life. I finished a BA at Dal, and one year at the Ontario College of Art and Design. My new plan is to become a French teacher, but first, to travel the world.
This time around, Halifax is not a city I go to school in, but rather the city I live in. I will be starting a full-time job as well as attempting to experience a lot of great things that are available to people in the city, and not just students. It would be great if you all could join me!
Also, if anyone has any suggestions about places I should visit in the city, or things I should try, please let me know, as I will do my best to give them a shot.
Before you know it, I will be off to a new city, but for now let’s focus on kind, old Halifax.
